About Us

Jill and I have been traveling to this gorgeous town for over 35 years. We were first attracted by the big lake and its beautiful geology. We are rockhounds who love to hunt the lake superior agate and other geologic treasures this area offers. We also love to travel, hike, fish, read, sing, play Pickleball  and socialize around a campfire. We have come to love the town and its amazing people.  We are both retired school teachers from the Grand Rapids area.  Jill taught at Sparta High School for 33 years and I taught at Northview for 21 after 10 years as a social worker.  We raised three wonderful daughters whom  we are quite proud of. We purchased our first place here in 2009 and bought Creekside 4 years later. We love to share this little piece of heaven and hope you come to enjoy it as much as we do.
